Was bin ich froh! Froh über die Tatsache, dass ich mein Google+ Buch erst im März veröffentliche und dieses neue Update mit aufnehmen kann: Google+ lässt dich jetzt noch einfacher Freunde finden!
Aus „Kreise“ wird „Personen finden“
Der Punkt „Kreise“ in der Navigation heißt ab sofort „Personen suchen“ und hat eine besondere Überraschung auf Lager. Klickt man ihn an, landet man auf einer neuen Übersichtsseite mit Vorschlägen an Personen, mit denen man z.B. bereits auf Google Mail in Kontakt steht. Um noch mehr Vorschläge zu bekommen, kannst man jetzt noch einfacher nach Arbeitskollegen oder Schul- und Studienfreunde suchen.
Um die Kreise zu organisieren, muss man in der Leiste oben auf „Neu hinzugefügt“ bzw. „Meine Kreise“ klicken. Die Organisation der Kreise wurde nicht verändert, somit wurde der gesamte Bereich um die neue Vorschlagsseite erweitert.
Ein sinnvolles Update
Ich persönlich finde dieses Update super, denn das Finden bekannter Personen war biser nicht wirklich optimal und die Funktion versteckt. Durch das Update können nun auch Neulinge schnell und einfach Bekannte und Freunde finden, so dass der Start auf Google+ viel besser beginnt.

With so many new people signing up for Google+ every day, it’s easy to miss friends and colleagues who’ve recently joined. So today we’re making some updates to Google+ to help you find people you care about and add them to your circles.
For starters, the Circles icon in the app ribbon is now labeled Find People. Click through and you’ll find a new page with a list of people you might want to add. We’ll show you people you’re already talking to on Gmail and other Google products at the top of the page. To get even more suggestions, it’s easy to search by your school, workplace, or other email accounts.
If you want to organize the people you’ve added a bit further, you can always click the “Your circles” button at the top of the page. From there you can use the circle editor to see all of your circles and decide who belongs in each one.
